These nuggets of art

This is a wonderful Ted Talk by Elizabeth Gilbert (Author of 'Eat Pray Love') I can relate to her stories of where the inspiration, stories come from. Particularly when she speaks of the 90 year old poet. How the poems would come at her fast and she had to run to get paper and a pencil as fast as possible.

I seem to get lyrics, poems, ideas when I am doing dishes. Or if I am out for a walk. Often when I am actively doing something that doesn't directly involve my art - that is when I am "given" these nuggets of art.

Enjoy!

Since I love Pinterest...I had to add in a picture to this post. (Book Cover) I have linked it to Elizabeth Gilbert's website

Single parent creates multi-million dollar business

The more I read this book, the more I love it!

As with anything I am interested in and thrilled about, I start googling and twittering. This usually leads to more excitement. Zhena tweeted, “Big news my friends! Mark Walhberg will executive produce a show based on my memoirs!” (So exciting!)

I was a single parent for 12 years so I can relate to what she felt like. I can also relate to her Gypsy side of life and following the intuition given.

Had to share this book! Right off hop she gives a tea recipe for relaxation and relieving anxiety.
